Musical Opportunities at Peace

The Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir enriches the worship life of Peace Memorial Church. This group is open to all youth and adults with a desire to “make a joyful noise” and to share their gifts with the congregation. The Chancel Choir meets for rehearsal every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. and participates in most worship services from Labor Day through June. Besides participating weekly, this group prepares large choral works for presentation during Advent and Lent, and hosts a variety show in June. All are welcome to participate in this choir. If you have any questions you may contact Jack Sulouff, Director.

The Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir brightens the worship life of PMC by providing an opportunity for the very young to become engaged in the worship service. This choir, comprised of children ages K through eight grade, meets for rehearsal every Sunday immediatly following the 9:30a worship time. Adults and children alike are invited to attend a rehearsal to see what the choir is like! Or contact Linnea Rimkus, Director, with any and all your questions.

The Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir enhances the worship life of PMC by providing an exciting alternative to the traditional vocal choir. This group of youth and adults meets for rehearsal every Sunday morning at 8:00 p.m. for one hour. No prior experience is necessary for participation in this group. The Handbell Choir participates in worship about once a month and provides additional music for special services in the life of the church. Please feel free to attend a rehearsal or contact Jack Sulouff, Director, with any and all your questions.

Other Musical Opportunities

Additional opportunities abound for musical participation by any individual - whether a member of the church or not - in the form of solos, small ensembles - both vocal and instrumental - and other types. All who are interested in sharing their gifts and participating in the worship life at Peace Memorial Church are welcome to contact Jack Sulouff.
