PMC Child Care
Here at Peace Memorial Child Care Center our program is based on the belief that play is an essential component of healthy development. Play is the child’s world and his/her prime educator. It enhances the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of the young child.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum reflects respect for the child by providing a warm, caring environment which he/she can make choices. We provide experiences that result in success and therefore build self-esteem. There is a healthy balance of experiences each day, which provide the opportunity for indoor/outdoor, quiet/active, individual/small group, large muscle/small muscle and child initiated/staff initiated activities.
Our Goals
It is our goal to meet the spiritual, emotional, creative and physical needs of each child and to assure his/her care, protection and educational growth. The staff members of Peace Memorial Child Care Center are committed to providing a safe, loving environment for your child. We are staffed by professionals and students with varying degrees of education and experience. All staff members receive an orientation and training prior to employment as well as on-going training to develop and strengthen their skills. Many of our staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid.
• We accept children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.
• Full and part-time schedules available.
• There is a non-refundable registration fee at the time of enrollment.
